FAIRTRADE – CANE SUGAR PROGRAM
Brief overview of tender
For its Fairtrade certified smallholder sugar cane farmer organizations in Central America, Fairtrade & CLAC (FT producer network in Latin America and the Caribbean) are looking for a consultancy partner to train farmers in 3 countries in Central America to accurately assess and report GHG emissions and carbon removals. Ideally this will be done with a tool that is designed for the use of small farmers. The tool needs to be based on the Cool Farm tool.
The training needs to be delivered to the farmers in 3 countries in Central America.
The farmers don’t produce sugar, but supply their cane to a mill.
