The landscape here is characterized by diverse climatic zones, from the humid monsoons to the arid plains. This variability allows for a wide range of agricultural production. Farmers here grow essential staples such as rice, cereals, and cotton, alongside herbs and spices that sustains millions and represents a deep-rooted agricultural legacy. The favourable weather conditions and rich soil support the cultivation of fresh fruits, vegetables, oilseeds and oleaginous fruits, as well as some of the world's finest tea, coffee and cocoa. Traditional farming methods, combined with sustainable practices, enable farmers to adapt to changing climates and market demands.
