  We prioritize forging strong and sustainable partnerships to drive equitable development for producers across the Asia-Pacific region. Through our Partnerships and Linkages Program, we work collaboratively with governmental bodies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private sector entities to leverage their expertise and resources in advancing Fairtrade principles. These partnerships are crucial for implementing impactful projects that enhance producer livelihoods, improve market access, and support sustainable practices and for expanding the reach and impact of our programs.

  By combining our knowledge of Fairtrade standards with the specialized expertise of our partners, we ensure that initiatives are well-coordinated and effectively address local challenges, from strengthening cooperatives to advancing gender equality and climate resilience.

  Funding Support Programs

  Funding is essential for the long-term sustainability and success of our initiatives at Fairtrade NAPP, as it ensures our producers have the financial backing and support they need to drive meaningful, sustainable change within their communities. Through our Funding Support Program, we work to secure funding grants from global donors, funding agencies, partners, and stakeholders to sustain vital programs and projects addressing all social, economic, and environmental needs of our producer organisations.

  We advocate for producers’ needs and challenges at the Fairtrade Global Resource Mobilization Group/ International Partnerships & Programmes Implementation (IPPI) to ensure that the funding we secure is reflective of the real needs and realities faced by our producers. This collaboration enables us to align our funding strategies with global Fairtrade priorities and leverage opportunities for resource pooling. Together, we target diverse funding streams—including institutional donors, private sector partners, and international development organizations—to ensure that our projects are adequately financed.

  Targeted Programs and Projects for Producers Organisations

  Our Partnership and Funding initiatives are designed to support diverse product categories and producer groups, with a strong focus on improving living conditions, enhancing income, and promoting sustainability for farmers and workers across the Asia-Pacific region.

  In addition to projects financed through internal Fairtrade funds, many of Fairtrade NAPP’s flagship initiatives are co-funded by institutional donors and corporate partners. Our funding partners play a crucial role in scaling our efforts and expanding the reach and impact of our programs, supporting us to implement innovative solutions and respond to the evolving needs of producers.
