Fairtrade NAPP Handbook on Organic sugarcane farm plan and budget

The handbook aims to guide the Fairtrade producer organizations and the readers in the culture of organic sugarcane using the POCAT-6, a novel technology. A comprehensive handbook using the POCAT-6 technology is also provided in-detailed together with the proposed farm plan and budget template. The book also includes farmers’ best practices, the group challenges, and their foreseen solutions and is meant to help them in the development of organic farming through workshops and learning exchanges among small sugarcane farmers’ organizations’ members in Negros Occidental, the Philippines. The resources extended by the funding organization to the 6 SPOs are a strong signal to boost every farmer to strive more in their farming endeavors in an environmental-friendly mode of farming.
