It’s trendy to be ethical and sustainable. As much as we wish all the claims we see out there were real, they aren’t. Greenwashing is a big problem. It confuses shoppers and is a disservice to the people and environments these companies claim to protect. But what do the certifications and the labels all mean? And how do you apply that to your daily life?

Brands using the Mark

In the US there are over 80 brands selling products with the Fairtrade Mark. From small to large, start-ups to long-term Fairtraders, these brands inspire us with their commitment to creating a more sustainable world. Meet a few of them!
