Brief overview of vacancy
Under the new Fairtrade International strategy, a Cotton & Textiles specific strategy has been set up and is being implemented by a coalition of national Fairtrade organizations (Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Africa, India, and other countries).
The Global Product Manager Cotton/Textile will be responsible for the development and implementation of this Cotton and Textile strategy. Currently, the Fairtrade offer for Cotton and Textile consists in two different Standards:
- Fairtrade cotton standards (from farm to factory)
- Fairtrade Textile standards (for manufactures only).
